Blessed Thistle

Blessed Thistle is one of the other best herbal support products for promoting
breast milk in nursing mothers.
Blessed Thistle: breast milk-to enrich, nursing, pregnancy.

For convenience, you may wish to take the herb in the powdered form, 2 capsules three times
daily during the nursing period.

If you prefer a tea for this and also improve the heart, just bring 1 pint of water to a boil.

Remove from heat and add 1-1/2 level tablespoons of cut, dried herb. (You can open up a few of
the capsules into a tea strainer for this. ) Let steep for 45 minutes. Strain and drink warm, 1 cup
at a time about half an hour before nursing your infant.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Blessed thistle has been used traditionally to stimulate menstruation and abortion, and therefore should be avoided during pregnancy. Although blessed thistle has been used historically to stimulate breast milk flow, it is best to not use in high doses.  Follow recommendations on the bottle.

This bottle was sealed for your protection. Do not use if inner seal is missing or damaged. Nature’s Sunshine uses natural source materials in its products that are subject to color variation.

Other Information:

Blessed thistle is relatively safe and free from side effects. Anyone with allergies  to plants in the daisy family should use blessed thistle cautiously.
